The kitchen floor may be made in almost all the moisture-resistant material – vinyl, marble, wood and even closed – but if you try to balance the beauty and durability of the cost, there is nothing better than ceramics. Ceramic floor tiles are generally less expensive than most other hard-tile material, easy to install and maintain than wood, and much nicer than vinyl. Tiles also come in an amazing variety of styles and colors, more than most other floor, so you can usually get them to work with what you go looking.
Natural Look
They are sleek and flat, colored tiles you think of when you think of ceramics is not the only kind. Ceramic tiles come in all sorts of colors and finishes, including some made to resemble marble, unfinished stone and other natural materials. For the design of old kitchen or rustic, go with ceramic earth tones or gray with a rough stone finish and uneven surfaces and form a little out-of-square. This has the added benefit of not too slippery when you walk on it. The tiles must be sealed to prevent moisture intrusion.
Intercalating materials
If you have a polished marble countertop or granite backsplash, but you can not afford to make the entire floor in the material is expensive, consider mixing in a few of those type of tile with your tile floors. Ceramic tiles come in many styles and colors so that you can almost always find a style that goes with the materials. Do not use tiles that mimic marble or slate, but rather looking for ceramics that offer a complementary basic background and then run a row of marble tiles or large groups of tiles floor tiles slate in a model to tie it all together. Floor-Mural
Most people are surprised to learn that it is possible to paint a mural to design your own ceramic floor. This must be done properly because ceramics are designed to withstand such things as paint stick. Buy plain, unfinished ceramic tiles (this is one of the few times you will do), install as usual, but do not close the grout. Paint on the grout, the whole soil and all, with oil-based primer sealer, then paint your work on the floor in a good oil painting. Seal with three coats of polyurethane oil-based, classroom floor, sanding between coats of each, so that the next will follow. Form of tiles appear as unbroken wall design, provide an interesting texture.
